German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) Rescue of Texas

I suppose we didn't feel like two dogs was quite enough so we're fostering another: a 2 year old GSP from the GSP Rescue of North Texas (they aren't really North Texas, but all of Texas). In fact, Austin is one of the best places for adopting GSPs these days. Maybe it's because Austin is such and active town and GSPs no doubt require LOTS of activities.

Even dogs nowadays have blogs, and so our foster dog Dylan is no different. Here's his blog. He's a very intense dog with a look in his eyes that commands your attention (probably meaning he'd make a great hunter). Having three dogs over 1 or 2 isn't really that big of a deal, it 's just sheltering them when you have to travel that's the problem; it's hard to find anyone willing to keep your 3 dogs for weeks on end. So we'll continue to be a 2 dog family for a while until we find a dog nanny.
